jd and Davy, if Celtic were in the premiership and getting all the publicity and T.V money they would be the biggest Football Club on the planet, that's why they won't allow us in, unlike they manky bastards over at Greyskull, they can't get in because of their thug bastard fans.

No, they wont let us in because we're Scottish teams. The SFA, FA, Premiership and UEFA all agree on the matter. Sky Sports are also not interested in the Old Firm joining the premiership, and as you can imagine, their position on the issue has considerable influence. Even if they did let the Old Firm into English football there's no way we'd be starting off in the premiership, they'd make us work for promotion.

Further, its not in the Old Firm's interests to join the premiership as there would be no guaranteed place in Europe, unlike with the system now where we both get to play in one of the European competitions 90% of the time.

If the Old Firm were ever to move to the Premiership then that would end my support of Rangers as I'd feel that the move would be suggesting that they felt that they were somehow better than Scotland, that Scotland just wasn't good enough for them, and that, for me, would be a betrayal of the nation and the fans. I'd probably end up being a sheep ;)
