I am mortified that Queen didn't make it in to any of the four decades they span.

Nice to see The Doors, Pumpkins and Sonic Youth make the list.

Like I said before White Stripes are the worst live band I have ever seen. For those who havent seen them expect this; power chord, power chord, power chord, power chord, (turn the gain up and make things even sloppier), power chord, power chord all to the backing of the shitest drummer ever.

If you honestly think that The White Stripes are "the worst band [you] have ever seen", I have to think that they are the band that bug you and have a personal vendetta against. Everyone has one, mine is U2 with their too-up-beat generic music, with the exception of a FEW early songs. Jack White can compose like few others, hes like the Paul McCartney of today: easy listening music that never gets too deep.

And btw, TWS sound very, very similar to Wolfmother.

Dont get me wrong I dont have a problem with them, and some of the album stuff is ok, but as a live band they really suck.

What about Cream, The Kinks in the 60's cos they shit all over CS&N, Bob Fucking Marley and David Bowie in the 70's, Primal Screams "Screamidelica" for the 90's = my favourite drug album, Pixies for the 80's, The Strokes for the 00's. Also worth a mention a band I have got into recently called "The Meters" their 1st 3 albums are grade "A" funk instrumental classics, defo worth checking out.
