Inouk (i' - nook) and Ambulance LTD once at the top of the indie music scene have since broken up and disbanded; but after four long years the lead singer of Ambulance has returned with three members of Inouk -- creating a supergroup of which you’ve never seen the likes of.

But alas the label they were under has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Now an album whose producer was John Cale of Velvet Underground has been pushed back indefinitely and may never come out. I have followed this band closely and I’m telling you it would be a damn shame if their new work was never released. Luckily there is concert footage.

Inouk’s debut album which I strongly recommend is no longer in print but available on iTunes.

That's the only song I know by Ambulance LTD.. very odd song and I heard it in a Blind video.

this has a great ring to it, i thought the first song was a bloc party cover when i heard it first.

but its far better.

kind of like the coral, and nine black alps.

really really good.

but i refuse to use i-tunes, if im paying for songs i want the physical form, not data.

Dude, a supergroup refers to the fact that it's assembled from parts of other bands, it doesn't mean anything about the quality of music the band produces.

Aha, I see. So a superstar is a rockstar that is very good but a supergroup is just a group made up out of other bands? Hm, well, seems logical. Then again, it's English we're talking about.

Anyway, the sentence used in the article was: "creating a supergroup of which you've never seen the likes of". That's quite presumptuous, don't you think? And apparently it is enough to create a 'supergroup' by merely exchanging the lead singer.

Is a "supergroup" not outstanding or amazing musicians from other bands who join together as one band to attempt to create great music aka Cream.
