Just a collection of thoughts about the situation of giving soldiers wounded in the Iraq war my respect. The serious part of this blog is in the post-script.

This should be an editorial.

"Ok, so we're fighting the evil terrorists? So, who are they? Well, sorry to say, but no-one fucking knows."

Dude, don't you know, we're fighting the 'evil-doers'. It doesn't matter who they are, all you need to know is these people wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say "Today, I will do some evil". They get to their cave-offices, sit down at their desks and work their hearts out at maximizing evil-doing and/or freedom hating. And they have snake tails.

Don't worry, its all very complicated, we're on the brink of victory anyways. Just think, in a couple years there will be no more evil. How sweet will that be!

The most Ironic part of all this, is that while the Vets sit in their Hospitals, permanently mangled, their lives ruined, the so called Leaders are undoubtedly reaping huge profits from their corporate oil stocks. Bush,an oil man,is making millions from the high prices of fuel that his war created. He'll retire in six months a very much more wealthy murderer, while we pay our souls and left nut for fuel.

"We know Saddam had Weapons of Mass Destruction, fo' sho,"

No he didn't. Its called an excuse. Just like 9/11. They 'need' terrorists for that. And its handy if you have some pretend ones around for good measure.

I definately feel sorry for all the troops who get injured because they've been 'conned' into being cannon fodder for the US war machine. I mean, once they're in, its very difficult to get out again, isn't it? They're not heroes of any sort, just victims of a stupid war.

Nice points, opens a lot of questions. Fighting for something as vague and questionable as Iraq makes me wonder. Anyway, IMO you just end up another expendable pawn amongst the many they've already used.
