Nice ed.

Men are 6 times more likely to be struck by lightning than women.

That's really odd. Any theories as to why?

The storage capacity of a human brain exceeds 4 terabytes.

But the human mind stores pictures more easily, making the question '4 terabytes of what?'. Probably using text as the standard?

4 terabytes is 4 terabytes, regardless of what you put in it. Just like a ton of bricks weighs the same as a ton of feathers but you're gonna have a shitload more feathers than bricks.

^ That's not true at all. Binary is an incredibly inefficient way of storing images and motion. 4 terabytes is a binary measure, with no relation to mental storage. That's why I'm wondering where their point of comparison is.

Mentally, a single word is no easier to store than a picture (probably harder to store, actually, because text retention is actually increased when you attach texture, color etc to words), Whereas with binary you could fit a set of encyclopedia in the space of a single high-quality picture. Biological memory uses a completely different mechanism of storage. Some people (notably the autistic, or some rare people after head-injuries) are capable of remembering everything they've ever seen in perfect detail. 4 terabytes wouldn't even come close to storing that. It wouldn't even scratch the surface.

Men are more likely to be struck by lightning for a few reasons.

Where we work (construction), where we play (out on the links), the amount of iron in our blood (we don't bleed out for 7 days), and what we drink (men are more likely to drink alcohol which increases conductivity).

I could be talking out my ass though.

Actually that sounds pretty credible to me.

Ok, ladies, and some of you gents, this is for you.At some point in time EVERY guy has cum too soon. And it IS because he has a problem; over stimulation.Next to basement dwellers, married men have one of the worst sex lives. For married men it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt. For the basement dwellers, it's just lack of social skills and the sight of real live boobs.Women, if a guy cums quickly, it's a sign that he's very anxious to rock your thigh clam a...

We need to be reminded of just why we're going to hell.Just cl...
