April 12, 2008 was yet another planned date for protests against the Cult of Scientology. All across the globe, every month there are going to be protests. The scientologists, without a doubt, had no clue as to the kind of forces they are going to be up against. I could go on and on about the injustices and atrocities committed by the Cult of Scientology but I am going to assume that everyone knows their crimes against freedom. The Dallas protest of scientology started officially at 11:00 AM CST. Due to a night of rabid drinking I was not able to make it until 11:30 or so. I am quite sure that other major cities had more prominent turn outs but everyone in my city did what they could. We all got up off our asses, minimized mIRC or firefox and banded together. The effort that went into the whole project still amazes me. At least three different pamphlets and two other flyers were produced in massive quantities. The area that was chosen for this even was the Dealy Plaza located in the west end of downtown Dallas. A location that is infamous for the assassination of one of the greatest presidents in the United Sates of America. An area that attracts tourists and locals every day. The area was chosen so that the message of the anonymous could be spread to a multitude of people. The monumental stigma with the location went hand in hand with the significance of our protests. I personally talked to around twenty people who had
no idea who or what the church of scientology was. I talked to people from Russia, France, and New York City. I spoke with a couple from Wisconsin and the Midwest who were visiting the monument and also got to be educated in the heinous acts of this cult. While most everyone was very supportive we still had to deal with the typical bullshit that surrounds protests. During one point we were all forced to move off of county property while originally we were told this was fine. Police forces were there and were watching from a distance while suspected scifags filmed and took pictures. I would imagine this same scene was played out in the hundreds across the globe. Regardless of these actions I feel it was a tremendous success that, while the turnout at the dealy plaza wasn’t the greatest, personally reached hundreds of people. Due to some confusion on certain protesters parts it is said that two separate protests were had. The main one at Dealy Plaza and still some protestors showed up in front of the actual Co$ compound in old east Dallas.
I wish to share with you some pictures and video of the event. I hope you all enjoy and post similar experiences in the comment sections of you guy’s experiences if you went.

Well, those are the pix I had taken and it was a really great event. Anon pizza was plentiful and so were the soft drinks :) Here is a video of me talking to a cop. He came up and his first words were "Get off county property." Being a little confused about what was county property and not I asked for clarification so we could all follow the city's rules. Here is his response:
All in all it was great success for justice and truth. Superman would be proud!
