I guess they didn't consider the weather factor at 25 years, when Canada won't be so cold and more immigrants would come to live and work.

^ I don't think the weather is a very important factor that slow the immigration. IMO, if they come to North America, those immigrants want to live in the US. That's why many use Canada as a platform to gain a foothold in America.

We have more migrant workers here right now than all time and i'm all for it. Plenty of opportunities for foreign workers here in Canada.

Global warming doesn't actually mean that canada is going to get more extreme.

and to jackanape: trooper is actually right though. There is a 3000:1 US:Canada immigration ratio.

meaning for every 3000 people trying to get in the US, 1 is trying to get into Canada.

Whether you have opportunity or not, US is the largest GDP country in the world with, well slightly more opportunity. Whether it is a better country or not, I am not arguing, I am just saying, more are clearly migrating to the US.

I this is is a good thing because the younger ones who graduate can actually get into the profession they studied for. I SAY ITS ABOUT TIME! HA! We might have some drawbacks on the economy, but in the end its for the better. I doubt all of them are going to retire anyways so only if they all retire, we might have big problems.

its okay you can keep them. This is good though, the less people in Canada=the less people sucking up welfare/healthcare. And you can attribute my pesimestic attitude to where I live.
