I have compiled what I think are the greatest motorcycle quotes found throughout various sources. None of these quotes are mine, but I plan on coming up with my own personal bike quotes for another editorial. My bike has been in the shop for about 2 weeks, which can account for the feverish inspiration.

Maybe you can show me the ropes and give me a crash-course (no pun intended... seriously, heh).

I've messed my knee up pretty bad twice in my life, both times on a CRF dirt bike (once on pavement and once on snow, ice and rocks). The only time my knee bothers me really bad is when I'm stressed out.

well, i might be in Long Beach (socal) in early june for a few days, but i live up in norcal. so if you're around i can get the crew together and we'll all smash. we usually ride about 10 bikes deep on an average ride. unless we get together with one of the national clubs like SBF, we were rollin about 200+ over the bay bridge last time.

I won't be too far from Long Beach.

Haha. Very nice. If possible, I would prefer a small crew, at least for the first little while.

When it comes down to it though, I'm game for any sort of biking.

first time i ever rode a bike i jumped straight to an 03 CBR 954 RR. but to my luck my cousin had to crash into a fat bitch ped. who decided to J-walk at night during rush hour looking in the opposite direction of oncoming traffic. . . . . sooo much pressure. now its back to shitty cars

To quote Harley Davidson - "Vroom vroom!". What a quote.

Motorcycles, death, synonyms, etc.

I have enough trouble with a pedal bicycle as it is, with some of these retards and their 2 ton killers, the day I pick up a motorcycle is the day when I go insane.

Ah well, it's probably the most fun way to splatter your brains out onto the pavement. IIRC more US troops actually died in motorcycle accidents after serving, than in Iraq.

Seems so much fun, but the amount of shit I've seen/heard, some personally, about motorcycle deaths is enough to put me off for several lifetimes.

I seen a few publications in the UK slag off the GSXF, good to hear a differing viewpoint. Alot of them anyways have deals with insurance companies so they kinda push the heavy premium models.

The GSX-F is basically a cheap GSX-R with less features and it's modified for touring.

They don't have the power of a racing sport bike because they're a touring sport bike.

I've owned 2 of them. Overall, I've only spent about half what someone would spend on a GSX-R and I probably ride twice as much as a GSX-R owner would. They're the best in its class I think (sport touring 600).

Scoot, thought it was a great list and wonderful advice to new riders. My husband has been riding over 30 years and I just started. He is being extemely protective and was cautious in his choice of my bike, protective gear and learning areas. I plan to live, he plans to do all he can to make sure I do.

Really glad you gave the recomendations for new bikes and gradual upgrades...wise wise stuff!

Dear Asshole Programmers,Hi, it's us. The consumers you love to fuck over and over again. There is a growing epidemic in the great world of computers that's expanding by leaps and bounds. It's causing innocent computer users, worldwide, to develop heart conditions from constantly burning effigies and clinching their fists as they disable annoying background processes they did not authorize to run, at all. This crap needs to stop. I can almost understand the logic...
