I hope they don't kill him. He needs to be put back into power in Iraq. He is the only reason Iraq wasn't a bloodbath on the scale it is today, and he is the reason Iran didn't have the power they have today. He wasn't a religious fundamentalist, and was a good check in the region.

Enough with the Bush Bashing! He's going to get his soon enough (and not nearly enough). It's still to be determined if the US people will vote for a proper leader this time around. Maybe it's about time the people of the United States got their comeupance for continualy voting for these candidates.

Exactly, sure, he's...Saddam Hussein and everything, but if he gets executed he (falsely, ludicrously) thinks he's going to go to some magic afterlife with 72 virgins, young boys, water, wine and gold (why did a daterapist get to invent Islamic heaven/Jannat? What kind of person would come up with something like that?...oh right, nevermind). A much more fitting punishment would be multiple - several hundred - life sentences in jail.
The problem is that this is Irak we're talking about here; those motherfuckers'll go koo-koo bananas if he's not put to death. Of course, his deluded supporters will go koo-koo bananas if he is put to death. The moral: in Irak, or indeed the middle East - there's always some group of people going koo-koo bananas about something, no matter how insignificant; there must be something in the sand or something. Who cares.
'Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!' Hm? What's that? Oh, right, of course. Well, that may well be, but your imaginary friend isn't going to stop them from killing you chief. Next time, make friends with tangible things. So long.

Humanity for the win? Yeah, a world in which we allowed such a man to gain power (I'm looking at you America) and kill so many people. We failed, and now we're going to murder him? You call that humanity winning?

I think the whole Saddam trial thing was more of a scam than Bush's Iraq invasion. It was obvious that the Sunni Shia politics had everything to do with the trial and the eventual judgement.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of Saddam by any means, but I kinda feel sorry for the guy, if anyone should be hanged, it should be the EVIL TRINITY of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, but then again I'm pro-life and I'm against death sentences to anyone, doesnt matter how henous the crime is.

tch he got his death penalty for putting 137 shia people in jail for an attempted assassination attempt in 1982, so GW and blair should get worse than the death penalty. though i don't like the fact that he killed thousands of kurds, that seems to not be the reason he is sentanced for death, what is really annoying me though is that non-iraqi's think that its getting better in iraq and this death penalty for saddam is a 'great milestone' for the country. i can't beleive they think any good is coming from it since they just showed shia for the hanging, but the other arabs saying they'll spill blood for saddam. civil war anyone?

@WouTar

execution as punishment is NOT murder, sorry..

def of murder:
The unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice.

it's punishment and it's lawful.

@schnikies79

Killing is murder, execution is just a reason.

Only God can judge, many death cases in the past have been found to have gone wrong so stfu.

I really hope just after he gets hanged the whole of bagdad goes up (Revolt!).

FidoQuick Take On The RNC
Being an open minded individual, I decided to spend a couple hours watching the Republican national convention in St Paul, or Minneapolis, Minnesota, or wherever it is. I had initially tuned in to watch Sarah Palin’s address, in order to maybe get a read on what she may be all about. I regret that I couldn’t get that far. After viewing Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani speak to the delegates, I felt an overwhelming need to seek asylum in another country. ...
