Steve Irwin, well known for his documentaries on wildlife has just been killed in a marine accident. He was filming his recent documentary when he was stung through the heart by a stingray. He was airlifted to the hospital but did not survive the trip.

This is terrible news for wildlife lovers everywhere. My heart goes out to his wife and children, may God give them strength during this emotional time.
At least he died doing something he so loved very much. He was an inspiration to people around the world. No matter your background or beliefs, he was a man who you just could not bring yourself to dislike. His passion for his job was unbelievable, and we are fortunate enough to still have his many documentaries to remember him by.
