Ah yes, I read that article in the magazine (had to get a Macleans subscription for econ class). Having lived in the US for 4 years(Houston) and now living in Vancouver, I know this to be true by experience.

Gauging divorce, crimes and wealth is one thing, but sex? That's a load of bull to me.

I guess if the "American Dream" is determined by your debt and how many pints of beer you drink, then yea Canada wins it.

Still, no one cares for the average Joe. Who wants to be average anyways.

I'm not doubting that Canadians have sex (lol?). I'm saying that measuring sex and crimes are on the opposite ends of the beam. I don't recall a national census on how much sex everyone has.

But you also forgot to mention the scale of everything. While it is true that you have 300 million and Canada has about 35 million - roughly 10 times the population of Canada, take into account GDP.

That's also roughly 10 times more.

In fact the United States has 8.6 times more people and a GDP that's 10.9 times as large. The US should be doing better, but they aren't.
