That's crazy! Victims' rights should come before offenders' rights. Sex offenders shouldn't be able to live in the same city as their victims. Kind of like a restraining order.

No, victims rights do not come before criminals rights, the whole idea of our criminal justice system (and 90% of all others) is that everybody has equal rights. Nobodys rights are more important than anyone elses, no matter what sickening things they may have done in the past.

Its clear that in the sentancing it should be mandatory that he is never allowed to live anywhere near them again, unless they allow it personally. However in this situation everything was handled perfectly, the police are working to the best level they can given the laws they are working within. They have done their best to make sure they dont run into him, BUT a mans gotta shop, and as such they politely advised her that he may be there during weekends, as its the only time he has access, they were not obliged to do that, you would think she would thank them for doing their best to help her stay away from him, but no the dirty skank wanted a few quid from the papers for a sensationalist piece of shit story, im sure reading about your own rape in the paper is really helping her daughter move on in life.
