God is not gonna blame you if you did something Sinful just to be able to live a normal life. Following blindly is what is the problem nowadays.

You're supposed to strive to make a better living for yourself, family and community. Stick to the morals and beliefs, but when something is affecting your health (be it physical, emotional, social<=especially in this case= etc.) then it must be corrected.

I kinda understand how he would limit himself from certain healthcare. As a muslim I'd put the limit on say . . . getting an organ transplant from a pig. :P

Jehovah's Witnesses know that hell doesn't exist. The word rendered "hell" in the bible actually means the common grave.

As regards the blood transfusion, which God didn't create, humans created them just like they created the Atomic Bomb, they believe that blood is sacred (which it is) and should not be sucked out of one person, and pumped into the other to make up for sloppy surgery techniques.
