So Iraq had at least 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium ... But one of the excuses used for invading was that Saddam was trying to buy more from Africa to use in nuclear weapons? Really.

What surprises me more is that you now know without a shadow of a doubt that he was a fucking lying asshole and should be lynched. You dont impeach a mass murdering, lying, international treaty breaking, asshole but you do impeach a president who likes a bit of wet dick. hmmm somethings wrong here.

The funny thing is this article also contains bullshit :

It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

Iran also has uranium mines , in the middle of the country .

http://tinyurl.com/5jhtxc

"Mohammad Ghannadi-Maragheh, Vice President for Nuclear Fuel Production of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), discussed the project at the World Nuclear Association Annual Symposium held in London 3-5 September 2003. The mine project is located 185 km north-east of Yazd, and covers an area of 20 hectares. The exploration completed in 1994 concentrated on areas, and resulted in a calculated reserve of 1.58 million metric tonnes of uranium ore with an average grade of 533 ppm (0.0533% U). This translates into a total uranium contents of 842 metric tonnes. The underground mine will have two shafts, each 350 meters deep. Ores with grades above 300 ppm will be sent to the uranium mill, while ores with grades between 100 and 300 ppm will be exploited by heap leaching."

If you have uranium deposits , it makes perfect sense to use them , say build a nuclear power plant , doesn't it ?

Well , that's why nobody tells us Iran has uranium deposits . Because forbidding them to use what they have is especially retarded .

Hmmm sounds to me like Bush was RIGHT.
Saddam DID have the ingredients to start building WMD's.

Thanks for justifying the past 5 years.
Glad we put him in the ground before he had a chance to use the stuff.

No! Saddam had plenty of left over nuclear fuel for his reactor that the Zionists blew up!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what happens when someone becomes brainwashed. They take any evidence they can get, whether it actually works for their argument or not, to "prove" they are right.

The uranium in Iraq was not weapons-capable and was under active guard by the UN. It was sealed and monitored.

It wasn't until the US invaded that the chaos allowed the uranium to go missing. While it couldn't be used for weapons, it's not a good thing to have lying around the house.

The nuclear claims were known to be far-fetched from the start. The documents were forged and every intelligence agency - even in the US - had already determined this. Hours after Powell made his presentation at the UN, the IAEA identified them as fraudulent with a simple Google search. The UK media found much of the evidence had even been copied from a student's paper from the internet.

You know, over a certain stretch you seemed to be making notable progress; in just one bout you go and ruin the entire thing by saying something so grossly stupid.

I'm really disappointed in you.
