This is an incredible video of a Canadian girl who spoke to the United Nations and left them completely silent and speechless for five minutes. Her name is Severn Suziki, and her speech was given at a U.N. assembly in Brazil when she was twelve years old.

Part of the problem is twelve-year old children who think it is their place to lecture adults - and dumb-asses adults who allow them to.

The problem here lies in the unwillingness to recognize a child as a respected speaker, if that was let's say... Nelson Mandela or some other world famous figurehead then the world's media would rave about how he brought a entire delegation to it's feet, but a child's speech while at the time very emotional, doesn't cut any mustard with these hardened politicians, sure it's all "wasnt she wonderful" shit talk for 5 minutes later, trouble is once she's walked off stage they're going to one another "Heh you fancy pizza or Chinese tonight"

Sure, we can live in a society willing to charge children as adults, but we don't give them enough credit to say something of worth.

Ed Roberts, I don't know about you, but my first thought wasn't to have fellacio from a 12 year old girl. Any smart person knows that girls that young don't have any skills and wouldn't know what to do.

I was hoping you were just kidding and trying to stir the pot, but you continually spout off things that leave me utterly baffled. My conclusion is that you should go play in traffic. Also, the only problem is the girl hasn't earned the respect and reputation she needs in order to actually make a difference.
