All they did was file a suit to have documents released about the deaths of immigrants in custody.

Where's the fire? There's no proof that anything funny is going on, or even that there's some sort of 'immigrant custody death epidemic' going on.

You're talking about people who were picked up crossing the desert, exposed to God knows what elements and diseases, who could have died from a MYRIAD of possible ailments and things that the immigration services were either unaware that they had or had contracted.

The ACLU's biggest contribution to America is that it wastes a great deal of time championing asinine crusades at the people's expense for their own publicity.

Nevermind that the irony that the AMERICAN civil liberties union lawyers are so interested in illegal immigrants who technically arent even Americans, while wasting taxpayer dollars in the process, paid for by real American families who probably are paying more than they would like to in taxes to begin with causing them hardships.

Anything that challenges Homeland security (America's version of the Nazi SS) is good in my books.

But you could say "So you don't care that taxpayer money is being wasted?" and I would say yes, because I dont in the US dummy!

I don't think you can speak for all of these cases and I also noticed that the article itself is vaguely written and doesn't really tell much, I'll give you that.

But to me it isn't about whatever this article is about, for me it's about taking shots at Homeland security and showing it/them that they aren't the boss, the people are.
