i can find enough porn on the internet, but when i say adult, i just mean mature topics. i really liked alot of the old articles submitted because they dealt with stupid and/or mature and not not pop culture content

Odd. I went to my profile, changed it from "10" to "unlimited", and that's that. I have never had to change it again.

The comment preference is cookie based, so if you delete the SW cookie, you'll have to re-select you comment preference.

Also, FF users who get a blank page when you first visit SW - LOAD YOUR PROFILE PAGE FIRST. Works for me.

I don't get the point of switching from unlimited comments per page, to a multiple choice in the first place! It seems so pointless! So please advise. I've gone to my options for firefox and made Http:www.shoutwire.com and exception for deleting cookies. Is that what I had to do to keep unlimited comments permanently?

Your settings would reset if your Firefox cookies were being deleted. If you allow cookies from Shoutwire and have them set to delete when they expire, (this is an option in Firefox,) then they shouldn't be deleting.

-yes to all of them.

-also, like said up there above me, some way to know when threads we've commented in have been commented on. checking your profile page and checking 'commented on' helps some, but unless you memorize how many posts it's got, its hard to find active threads.

-obviously the site functioning properly would be good.

-i dont really have anything to say about ads since i dont see them anyway, but popups and redirects are bad. ads that sit over vids are also bad.

-if this is supposed to be a 'social' site, perhaps a way to add people as friends (or something less gayly named) and watch THEIR comments and submissions.

-the ability to see who shouted what story (maybe keep bashes secret still, or not)

-put back the number of views a story has so i can bitch about stories w/ 1000 views and 4 shouts again ;)

-irc link that works, and doesn't use a shitty client, and doesn't require more than my browser, if i dont want

-animated avatars

I'm sure I'll think of more :)

8. Users get more customizable profile. All submissions (including blog, image submissions) are tracked. Everyone can subscribe to submission feed of other users of whom they like submission trends.

- Oh yes, please. Silly this hasn't been incorporated right from the start.

well if you guys are planning on selling stuff like . . . say shirts for example? I do Embroideries. so I can get u guys stuff for cheap. Cheap enough to satisfy Mexicans coming in from Tijuana to buy from us. . . . just a suggestion.
