wantdonotwant.com is gonna take a long time to grow, just looking at the stories there's mainly 0 comments and if you're lucky 2 comments at the most, I don't like the the way the vote system is labeled "want" or "don't want", it kinda sounds daft and doesn't have the ring to "shout" or "bash" or even "dugg" or "buried" for that matter, it's early days with the place and I'm sure it'll pick up over time so I can only wish the best of luck to the guys who are running the place, who knows maybe in the future they'll see me there. If shoutwire really goes to the pan I'll prolly register to Digg which is 2nd preference to shoutwire cos I frequent there a lot though not as much as here.

The idea is a competing site buys up the competetor. Crave Online is likely behind this. Maybe someone else.

In business it can be beneficial to have a money losing venture. With taxes at 30 percent it works out great. You buy shit for a profitable business, and write it off on the losing venture. The idea here is to help SW.

Leaving will not help. What needs to be done is the venture that SW is being sold out to must be found. I don't like the pseudo ads either but a low Alexa rating only helps the owners use this site as a right off.

Either way. We can start a new site if we want but 100 percent will never join so we must ignore the shit here. Maybe do what we can, but once we leave we will never all re-join.

In the meantime the best thing to do is get all the information on the owners that is possible. With the few left here it must be a dedicated bunch so lets put that shit to work, and start doing some research.

Also the same thing seemed to happen to Spiked. They were like the french. They put a teen age girl in charge.

You're right. With the Tspy feed, we had a never-ending pool of users and readers. Now that the feed is gone, there is really nothing to draw people here, and because of the ads, they don't stay when they do find us.

The admins are currently approaching other sites so that we can get a feed up. In the meantime, anyone with Facebook or Myspace can get the SW apps going and encourage their "friends" to put it up too.
