A relationship with the creator/God, is the ideal route since only you can make that connection and it doesn't fuck anything else/one up.

Spiritualism? Then we agree on something. Personally, I've always thought one of the main problems with abrahamic religions is its flawed relationship with its god through misrepresentation.
But personifying a god? People need something to relate to when they put their faith in something. But i agree, trying to name or give a face (not just literally) to something you believed created all existence will eventually weaken your way. Than again, this has worked out pretty good for polytheistic religions like Hinduism where the different gods and faces are eventually used to describe the many aspects of a supreme being. People misunderstanding and fanatics in general are still a problem there though.

Or what of the points the vast majority of Muslims live in Far Eastern Asia and the Indian Subcontinent and nowhere near Makkah? Or that parts of the Middle East are the most fertile land in the entire world?

Yeah, it first started in the Iran/Iraq war, and since has been a violent, however extremely rare, method of warfare. But need not forget, it IS a method of warfare: it has stimulus and logistical goal. It is not used to spread the faith or any bull like that, it is used to put pressure on military soft targets. It is even rarer to be completely random act of violence.

That's a fantastic idea. Hows this for a trade, we have our country and military commit massive genocide if you wash your toilet with the best cleaner there is: ammonia mixed with bleach. You do that first that way we can get all the tough stains out.
