the guy was argueing, then rather than accepting it as a simple disagreement HE GOT PHYSICAL. then, oh gosh, he got jumped.
sure, id say killing him is a bit extreme, but id also say ending an arguement by punching someone in the face to "defend malehood honour" is extreme too. if every dumb shit i argued with came up and punched me in the face, i might kill them myself.
this isnt an unprovoked attack, the guy deserved to get beaten down, he instigated it.
"15 guys stripped and kicked a 41-year-old man to death as he was walking"
yeh, when i walk, i punch everyone i go past too. what a joke.
common sense might suggest NOT starting on a gang member would be a good idea, but hey, i tend to think before taking drastic action. thats just me though.

I like how they plead not guilty and then have to have lawyers appointed to them because they're broke. Sounds like a strong case already!

On the other hand, they're gang members who probably can't wait to get into their new home in prison where they'll be well fed everyday.

I think Jeff does have a point. I dunno whether you've been in a situation like that but usually you DON'T have a choice. It isn't as easy as simply walking away. Especially when you have 14 other assholes hovering around, waiting to pounce. I assure you, they would've attacked him eventually. He probably didn't want to attacked while he was walking away. And even though Gooden struck first, it doesn't justify why 14 other people attacked him. H.e shouldn't have been jumped.
