Chinese news quoting the White House: BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Teenagers who use marijuana put themselves at high risk for serious mental problems: including worsening depression, schizophrenia, anxiety and suicide, according to a new White House report.

i started at 15, doing an eigth in 2 weeks. now i am 18 able to do an eigth in one day. I am considered intellectual and most who meet me do not consider me a marijuana user.

From my experiences with pot i have learned that you do not become less intelligent or lose your short-term memory. I smoked this morning, and i remember what i ate yesterday morning.

Heavy marijuana use only leads to the following:
1.) highs will last minutes not hours.
2.) smoking becomes a daily habit, without it you feel parched of your thirst.
3.) I devote $200 a week to my marijuana habit, note i said habit not addiction.

in conclusion, i smoke to relieve stress, boredom, and depression. I feel that i do not NEED marijuana to continue my daily life; however it creates an "artificial happiness" that i DO NEED.

and if you were wondering i do not drink alcohol habitually, nor do i smoke cigs. i'm an herb man.

That's a pretty shitty habit if you devote $200 a week to weed. Where I'm from, that'll buy you a fat, tasty ounce. That's a lot to smoke for most. You still get carcinogens and shit that tobacco gives you...

You're apparently psychologically addicted. To relieve stress, boredom and depression, there are many alternatives to smoking weed.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I use weed almost as recreationally as alcohol...but it's bad for you. Enough studies have supported amotivational syndrome as a result of habitual use of marijuana.

"Artificial happiness?" Why not strive for an ounce of true happiness? I'm sorry to judge, but I think you need help.

i try to devote my time to my studies and when i have any down-time i'm smoking. so my excuse is school related.
