Authorities said Thursday that a previously reported explosion in the southern city of Shiraz on April 12 that left 14 people dead and more than 200 injured was terrorist sabotage and that the United States and Britain had links to the group responsible.

@ Hyena

I thought you were a conservative. You're supposed to be suspicious of any and everything our gov't does. Get your head out of the sand already.

@ medfreak

Thank you.

@ cadpig

"If it even looks like the U.S and had anything to do with a Mosque being bombed or funded the bombers there would be hell to pay."

Plausible deniability. You do realize that the current administration is one of, if not THE, most secretive in the history of the nation, right?

"The Dems would rip Bush a new one."

Second side of the same coin. They stand to gain just as much of the current administration. Look at how utterly spineless they have been in their use of legislative power, they have no real desire to enforce the laws of the country because they stand to benefit from Bush's little power grab. Why do you think Hillary is damned adamant about staying in the race? She's addicted to power.

"I'm saying such an operation or project today would have too much political fallout."

The technology advances since that time are exponential. Especially since things like this are happening...http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/5/12/0228/93413

Also, cadpig unfortunately read that article I provided it dates back to almost 1 year ago but talks about the backing of the royalists who claim responsibility for this attack.

The only issue I take with this is that it should correctly read "Douchebag elements of the American government are 'irredeemably evil and worthy of endless suspicion and blame for every misfortune that befalls anyone anywhere in the world at any time.'"

But its a minor point.

FidoMeet Joe Sixpack
Howdy everybody, Joe Sixpack here. I never met you all before, but I was having some pops last night with my bud Fido and he said if I wrote this down, he’d fix up the spellun’ and put it on the internet. He’s mostly full of shit, but I did it anyway. This is about Thursday night. The wife had the kids at football practice and going by her sister’s and I was home tipping back some cold ones and looking for something to watch on TV. I seen the debate thing was on b...

oMissPixyoParents, Stop Dressing Your Daughters Like Sluts
One of the most disturbing trends in modern times has to do with the sliding scale of what's the appropriate standard for children's clothing. ShoutWire's HockeyGod once wrote an awesome editorial detailing an experience that involved chili dogs and teens at a mall wearing belly exposing, pants-low outfits. You've seen these types of get-ups when visiting the mall, I'm sure. There are certain lines of clothing designed to exploit a teenager's desire to mimic slutty...
