Second side of the same coin. They stand to gain just as much of the current administration. Look at how utterly spineless they have been in their use of legislative power, they have no real desire to enforce the laws of the country because they stand to benefit from Bush's little power grab. The only issue I take with this is that it should correctly read "Douchebag elements of the American government are 'irredeemably evil and worthy of endless suspicion and blame for every misfortune that befalls anyone anywhere in the world at any time.'"

But its a minor point.
