Also wrong. That is completely false. Rape is very serious crime, I believe it is actually punishable by death. The claim that the victim is to be punished is ludicrous. And IF this happens, in "the name of Islam" I assure you, it has nothing to with the religion and is being practiced by ignorant fanatics. Also, I have already posted on the conditions for someone being punished for adultery in another thread (The Geert Wilders one). The bottom line: Islam is set in a way so you can't actually be punished, meeting all the conditions is just about impossible. If you want me to clarify, I will.

For the last time: THERE IS NO "HONOR KILLINGS" IN ISLAM. Those are merely tribal practices. Even still, these don't occur very often. Not often enough for you to mention and certainly not often enough for you to tie back to Islam.

Yet you have the audacity to criticize its content. It also says something about you, both in personality and your lack of interest of knowledge. In personality because, from the negative connotation you put on it, you don't wish touch the Qur'an simply because you believe it will *insert asinine and degenerate excuse*. I can tell you lack the desire to gain knowledge because of the fact that, instead of opening the Qur'an and looking for knowledge yourself, you merely rely claims made by others. Vague claims, might I add. Thus, it becomes easy for someone to paint the mark of ignorance upon you. Ironically, the Qur'an has a verse that specifically talks about this kind of behavior (surat al-Hujurat). The verse urges people to seek knowledge for themselves and not simply rely on rumor. That is, people are to seek the source. I have never read the Bible, and consequently, dare not comment on its "flaws". I do aim to read it one day though.

I was only trying to point out that some Christians can see beyond Religion, just as some Muslims and Jews cn see beyond religion and look at people as people who a suffering.

There was no need to bring any other religion into this, it may have been valid to do so if the poster of the blog was arguing from a Christian point of view, but he wasn't.
