Bah upon RP.

The day the collective minds of the internet comes together to produce anything productive is the day that we prove Global Warming, Creationism, Scientology, and String Theory.

To back that up, i simply point to 4chan. That is a perfect example of what happens when you put people on the internet to collaborate.

/b/ for president!

Anyone who hates freedom should choke on a dick and die in a fire.

Our society is crumbling and every wisecrack motherfucker who sits there idly with told ya so remarks is another ember fueling it. His "radical" ideas and revolution wasn't practical due to the fact that this government has it's shit wired tight. Had he won he wouldn't have made it into office. The government doesn't want itself to have less power than it does.

You fear the government, it protects you from things that you don't know about, that usually wouldn't hurt you to begin with. You're trading freedom for security and the world is none the wiser that you aren't anymore secure, just alot more controlled. Our government has overstepped it's bounds and we can't change it because our hands are tied legally, we're working constantly just to make enough to barely live, but the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the economy crumbles.

Meanwhile, on the internet, you're all idly sitting on your fucking thumbs, declaring your armchair philosophy as some kind of idealistic mindset. I can't believe I ever showed a hint of sadness you were gone Bul.

Ron Paul was the only hope. Enjoy the fallout of a failed America.

Ron Paulseemed like he had so much potential... Unfortunately his radical ideas(radical like the founding fathers) about freedom and liberty were toomuch for the media-subjugated American masses to stomach.

And you should've known that and focused your attention on more REALISTIC candidates.

He succeeded where he wanted to, that is getting the democratic spirit moving to the lovers of liberty, especially to those who aren't that politically active. People care more now, at least those he touched.

I'll tell you what happened.. There were just too many ignorant, uninformed, people in this country for his message to be understood. It is an embarassment that so many people heard his message and did not recognize it for what it was. An attempt to bring this country back to the democracy that it once was...
The funny thing about all you scoffers is that the last laugh is really on you! You will continue to be the little sheeple you are, dedicated to your jobs, thinking you are free while asking permission to do everything. Keep voting for the only choices that you are given only to get the same results no matter who you pick.
But laugh it up as the dollar crashes, food prices go up, and more of your fellow men die for the cause of the rich. Maybe you will even like it when you are known as a Canadian/Mexican/American when the North American Union finally goes through.
It is so sad that the man sounds out a warning about the state of our country and everyone attacks him. Well it is at your own peril, and in the end when all goes down you can proudly say that you helped fight against democracy because the idea of it was just too radical.

You should check out some of the forums or even just youtube some of Ron Paul's videos. His supporters are just as motivated now as they ever were.

McCain was on the daily show the other night and mentioned Ron Paul. Jon Stewart was shocked to hear he was still in the race. That's actually the first mention I've heard about Ron Paul in weeks.

The media isn't just ignoring him, they are out and out burying him under fluff stories of Barack Clinton hijinks, hoping like hell that his popularity keeps supressed.

Not because they think that he'll win. A retarded spider monkey could have called this situation and it didn't come as any surprise.

It's because they don't like the message he's trying to spread, and the information that he's presented.

He's made a lot of people realize just how bad off this system is, and how it's perverted the rights of free people.

He's made people wake up and think, and for that you'd call him a loser?
He went against a system designed to keep people like him out of the captain's chair and is still holding in there.

While the mainstream has been keeping people pre-occupied, his supporters have been slipping delegates in under the noses of much scrutiny.

Let me ask you this?
Which is more important?

The 30th story on Rev Wright, or a story about how the GOP walks out on their own convention because Ron Paul supporters took over and controlled the delegates.
Technically he's got over 50 now, and sure that's not many, but still, I would think a story on electorial corruption would be at least somewhat newsworthy.

But fine, vote for one of the other guys, and be happy knowing that you are absolutely guilty in whatever future happens.

Go about your business while the government takes aim at Iran, allows the banks to make thousands more homeless, and abandon all personal rights and freedoms people once held dear.

Yeah, this guy is such a loser.
How dare he discuss war and not end it with a "USA,USA" chant.

"People care more now, at least those he touched."

That's certainly true.

"But fine, vote for one of the other guys, and be happy knowing that you are absolutely guilty in whatever future happens."

I'm not an American, so I won't be voting at all.

I'm not saying that Ro"n Paul is not a good person, or that his intentions aren't noble. I am saying that America wasn't ready to embrace such radical change. Even if this guy did get a fair shake from the media etc, do you really think that he'd still get elected, based on his platform alone? Not a fucking chance in hell.

"Meanwhile, on the internet, you're all idly sitting on your fucking thumbs, declaring your armchair philosophy as some kind of idealistic mindset. I can't believe I ever showed a hint of sadness you were gone Bul."

What?!

Listen to yourself. Condemning people for their political beliefs and some basic understanding of what is necessary to be elected leader of a Western democracy?

Read my previous editorial. Don't just fume at it - really read it. Look at all of the poison pills in there - his stance on abortion, demanding that vets with post-traumatic stress disorder be allowed to carry guns, eliminating the 5 day waiting period on buying a handgun, going back to the gold standard, disbanning the federal reserve...

Seriously, you should also read an excellent editorial on reverting to the gold standard that was posted on SW. The rebuttals to it indicated what kind of effect that it would have. Who would vote for such radical changes?

As sad as it is, people in general don't like change. For every guy wearing a V mask, there are 10000 who would prefer things as they are. Radical changes can't just be thrust upon people. They have to be implemented gradually.

Those are the reasons that Ron Paul would never be elected president, even if he was on totally equal footing with regard to the media, publicity and debates.
