This is a dumbass question. If you had the ability to go back in time...why would you settle on just assassination?

Why not capture him, then interrogate him and I don't mean in that winsome American "harsh technique" kinda way.

Everyone seems to be schizophrenic with capitol punishment when it suits them or under extreme situations. "I'm no killer, but I want him killed"...wtf?!

It would be far better to keep him alive and fill the void of unanswered questions and speculation (which floods most of the net today.) And don't give me that shit about he would never tell the truth during questioning...UM HELLO...we have a freakin TIME MACHINE, wouldn't we have discovered the means to retrieve information as well?

I wouldn't have killed him. Who knows what beneficial effect world war II had on the world's economy. It's impossible to know. Perhaps the entire world would have entered into a depression. Maybe a different, worse, world war would have happened(you know... like maybe russia and the US would have ended up nuking each other?)
