That's what hip-hop does. proper hip-hop though, not the shit they're churning out now days. Can't go wrong with some slick rick, or tribe called quest, l.o.n.s etc

Solution? Turn off the radio and MTV and put on some good music.

But to be honest I have gone of most lyrical music entirely. Satriani/Petrucci/Mr Eric Johnson is all the music I need. :)

@big: Yeah Immortal Technique also has a lot of songs that tell a whole story. Most hip hop like the artists you mentioned is fucking awesome.

^Johnny Cash tells some amazing stories like: Highway patrolman, and long black veil.

Charlie Daniels does as well. The infamous Devil went down to georgia, and Uneasy Rider are great examples.
