Decisions effect our every day, as well as our futures to come.
We make decisions on what to eat, what to wear, how to respond to people, but most of all how to attempt revenue for your Web Site.
With places like Digg selling for over 300 million, I must wonder how is shoutwire not so pricey with all this great Revenue? I mean with pop-ups, pop-unders, Full screen redirects, Full tile slot for "News" which has been about fergie for about 3 weeks as if anyone gives a flying fuck, and half naked girls squeezing there way under new great articles to do nothing more than make me seem like im trying to get off more than just read what the next man[or woman] has to say, Or maybe i could take a poll about when i first "did the deed", I've also won a very nice lap top!! Thanks SW!! wait... Advert.. Well I refuse to list any more (oh there definately is more) however I did this to show the rather excessive amount of Attempt to gain revenue.
How about instead of making this place become less and less desirable to Users and more and more desirable to you're short term income, swap it. Think if you could instead of shoo'ing away newcomers, and Old-timers alike, make it a User friendly Webpage (Not like vista user "friendly" where theres something that pops up at you every other click and is more after you're dollar than creating a solid Material, And much like how windows only lets you see what you "should" be able to see, *coff* censorshippawhat SW? *coff*)
I am 100% down with the people who helped create what Shout wire is today getting paid, However We the users the commenters, shouters, and the bashers Helped create shout wire as what it is today as much as the code monkey on the other end. With that being said i dont want money, I want a decent page with out a clusterfuck of Ads of every genre and annoyance possible. With the Users on your side is when you get more then your two cents per click you get a user base worthy of a 300 million dollar check. ( I have never surfed through Digg to extensively)
P.S. HollyWire DID help Shoutwire Become what is today also....Just that really shitty part that makes you go ..Ugh when the fuck is it gonna go back to the good ol' days...
