Vampire, got any good advice on books on ancient philosophy (ontology-related preferably) and must-haves or classics for a personal library on the subject?

Oh and, good read. Shouted

Edit: Got an answer.

Raw bollocks, please don't buy into this people. David Bohm did bring an interpretation of quantum mechanics which makes more sense to me than the others but this is just ridiculous, it has NOTHING to do with "consciousness". Psuedoscientific quackery, non-locality has nothing to do with "oneness".

His interpretation of QM (pilot wave theory) brings no new insight into the framework either, it's just a different way to view things.

Id recommend reading, seeing as maybe you need a slightly different way to view things.

Yes I am and I've watched this site go down the shitter, mugshot by mugshot over time, just like the pictures of that one meth addicted woman floating around on the interwebs.

I would recommend reading too, but I would say start with a thorough mathematical treatment of the whole thing. Bohm's mechanics does not change a thing with the exception of some unnecessary (except to this particular interpretation) additions.

There are a few "quantum mind" theories floating around by real physicists, the most famous one being Penrose/Hameroff's "ORCH-OR". Certainly not as mystical as this crap but by far more credible.
