There is only one man on Earth who could properly lead the ShoutWire victory chorus...
It was a Wednesday. After battling the scourges of Hades on the freeway, en route to home from work, like millions of others I looked forward to naught but a nice night of peace, relaxation and tomfoolery.
As any good, seasoned veteran of the web understands, the bastions of freedom where one can relax and unwind are dwindling. You see, browsing some sites is akin to being forced to make nice in Carebear-land, at the behest of uzis wielded by commie-Nazi SS administators. Others sites have the entertainment, passion and gumption of a Prosac'd Ben Stein reading Moby Dick.
There is one place, however, where users and admins alike will viciously fight for their right of free speech. There is a place where folks will rally to discuss and flame crucial headlines about the ethics of table scroggin', politics, societal opinion and pure entertainment.
Settling to my computer, I typed http://www.shoutwire.com and hit the 'Go' button...

Smackin' it down since '05Three was the magic number today for Firefox users, HaHaHa. (That bug will be fixed).
Finally, what craziness would I find on ShoutWire today? You never know what you're going to get on Shout. I looked at the page...
Wtf, Hollywire Celeb news?
Suddenly, all was cold, it was dark and I was afraid. I needed the money. Fortunately, as tough e-veterans, we are soldiers. The Shout Army was soon assembled and ready to defend their home from the minions of Perez Hilton and pals.
With an unprecedented and furious display of e-tactics, you guys went on the offensive. From the right flanks, I saw LeonHart and UnderTheInfluence going Rambo with flamer-ticles, a new weapon! Staff queued up with rolling tanks of editorials. Somewhere in the distance, ShanusMaximus was heard yelling 'Freeeeeeeedom' before getting gutted and Reborn, only to return sober the next day on irc.
It was an epic battle. Like a Band of Brothers, we came together and defended what we love. ...And it's today, good readers, that victory again is upon us.
It's at this point that I'd go into an epic speech about strength and hono
ur, but we all know there is only one song, performed by only one man, that can properly cap a victory.
Close your eyes and savor it, my friends. The victory is yours.
