^ I know, the NHS is ridiculous. My grandmother had to appeal to her local MP and get registered as virtually suicidal in order to get an operation that would save her eyesight a couple of years back. Not to mention there were several other people who needed the same treatment, yet were turned down.

If I knew where she lived, I'd make sure I paid a visit to give her an uppercut to the tit right after the operation!

this is another reason why my country has gone down the toilet..i even heard inmates in jail or getting operations after a 2 week wait that law a bidding people have to wait yrs to get

Dude I don't know what propaganda they feed you over there, I can only imagine. But the US health care is a very very flawed one indeed.
As much as the NHS has its issues, I'm thankful everyday for having it as opposed to your $ system.
