And I can't imagine a mindset with so little empathy to suggest some of the punishments people have on here. What he did is absolutely deplorable but I can't honestly say I'd be comfortable with him being inhumanely castrated and then slowly tortured to an agonizing death. I hear this shit all the time in regards to criminals and I really can't respect the people saying it.

SOME people may deserve that kind of punishment, but as fucked up as this sicko is I think these kind of ideas are way too extreme. The sadistic undertones disturb me. Could you really witness that kind of thing and think "Yep, he shot spunk in her face so he deserves it". And what's hypocritical about feeling sorry for the kid upon reading the story and then forgetting about it weeks later. What do you expect? Total indifference or eternal grief?

As for the other guy who said Canada didn't lose enough of its people during WWII or didn't send enough of them over there to justify their part in winning the war. Well, read the facts again dude. Canada had 1 million people active in the war with a population of only 11 million Canadians (in 1939). Not a single country in the allies sent as many people per capita to their death or were involved in the war effort. Our infantry men did real good with the single shot rifles most of them had. Not many Thompsons for us unlucky Canadians, single shot was what 90% of our men had and how outnumbered they were in most missions, they DID better than any SINGLE country for what they achieved. Our airbone divisions did even better with many hero pilots still being hailed to this day as the best of the best of any wars. Of course there are more of those from the USA maybe, just maybe that's because you had more people over there has it ever occured to you ? I don't think the main motivation of my late french Canadian veteran grand father who went to that war was for the motherland in Europe either. As we are die hard separatists from Canada. We certainly didn't fight to save France! No motherlands for us North American Frenchies. Don't Forget all Canadian soldiers were volunteers from the beginning of the war. Volunteers...Not drafted!
I'd fight a war beside a fellow Canadian any day, but I'm not sure If I'd have the same enthousiasm if my fellow was American. You guys are not trusthworthy.

Canadians are not pussies...We do fight, when we have to . We fight for freedom! We just don't get involved in every war that only have political or economical motives behind them and that they do not really reflect the vision of the majority of the people.
Although French Canadians want their own country, the matter will be settle by the pariliament... Someday. Not with guns. We are civilised.
