The United States warned that it was launching a legal review of a gas deal signed earlier this week between Iran and Switzerland to see whether it violates terms of US sanctions, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported. "We don't think that now is the time for people to be investing in Iran, not only in its petroleum or natural gas area, but in any sector of its economy," said State Department spokesman Tom Casey.

Yeps... a couple of years ago the states was speaking of investigating transactions between the Australian Wheat Board and the former Iraqi regime to see if they violated US regulations...

Stupid World Police mindset...

When your military is comprised mostly of Privateer chocolateers, there's not much you can do but sit back, tune your fantastically accurate clocks, pull out the lube tool on your swiss army knife,
and prepare yourself for the reaming.

Bashed for the Anti-American sensationalized title though.
Because that shit is just plain old already.

@VonLazuli

don't you know that the only real law in the world is U.S law, the laws of other countries are just pretend laws.

^^ LMAO so true

Go Switzerland!

US knows it can't take on Iran in a ground offensive because most of their resources are stuck in the ungodly clusterfuck that is Iraq, so they're resorting to cripple Iran thru economic sanctions..

Yeah, go Switzerland. Nice Nazi gold there fellas. The Nazi banking system and stolen treasures. Neutral my ass...but I digress.
This article does not give any details about how this would work...Must be through the WTO. I wouldn't know because this article is so shitty and lacking in...well, any meat I don't even know what to make of it.

From what I've read Switzerland actually has decent anti-invasion plans in place since WW2. Apparently they have explosives set under parts of every major road coming into the country that they can blow up to create nasty roadblocks. Of course this just slows things down but pretty cool nonetheless.

He just wants the the Iran Sanctions Act enforced..We don't want to control Switzerland...What is the point of sanctions if you have countries breaking them?...Just freaking invade already and be done with it..
