I think the equivalent of your kid asking you for a blue car and you giving her a red car, is like her asking for a pony and you giving her an alpaca. She specified she wanted a damn BLUE car for her birthday. All she cared was that it was BLUE. Her parents got her GI Joe figures when what she really wanted and couldn't stop talking about all year was the Ninja Turtles figures. Ya feel me?

To those of you dissing the girl, YOU'RE the ones who didn't get it. Or maybe you don't understand women. If you're gonna do away with the sentimental value of birthdays and what it means to get the right gift, then just do away with birthdays altogether.
