This is a sad excuse to bash the Bible. Minor contradiction between the many BOOKS of the Bible is just stupid.


Oh shit I just capitalized the word "books" for some reason. Oh thats right because the Bible is composed of many books, written by many different authors, who all had THEIR OWN VIEWS of the way things were.


Damn I just capitalized something else again. Must be relevant to this whole contradiction thing.


I don't understand how people can study text from the past and read so deeply into it. They find hidden meanings. They piece together cryptic messages to come up with logical conclusion. People look at drawings on the wall of pyramids and can come up to a solid fully detailed story about ancient religions. Yet when people read through the Bible they take every little word and phrase literally in its context.


A simple concept of Jesus being God, being part of God, and being God's son eludes you people. Did anyone here take a basic Philosophy course or even a literature course?


The stuff in the Bible is still interpreted today. These interpretations have lead to many different sects of Christianity. Yet Athiest are trying to jam every little sentence literally down our throats when each Christian has their own interpretation of the Bible. Shoutwire members scream, "Come to your own conclusion". Yet they don't seem to nitice the Baptist, Protistant, Catholic, Conservative, Liberal, and Psychopathic Westboro Christianity.
