looks like 720,000? Sadly if there was even 200 million people on that list nothing would still happen without congress doing something. It's not like our government is for the people and by the people. If it was Bush and Cheney would already be gone due to that nice 30% and 18% approval ratings.

Who knows.. if it gets alot of media coverage maybe congress will listen. I really dont believe that they care though because of the easily manipulated voting machines.

Its pointless. Absolutely nothing will happen even if you get 5 million votes.

To oust a disastrous evil leader like Bush a revolution is needed and the american people are far too fat, stupid and lazy to do that.

^ id hate to agree but xception has a point if mass protest and an abysmal approval ratings change nothing, it will take more than an online petition to do anything

It's just a step. The masses are too busy with their jobs and t.v shows to care enough to do their part. Or they just plain love bush and call everyone who disagrees liberals/conspiracy theorists. I think a march to the white house of 10 million would make them take notice. Can't pepper spray that many people. Then again majority of Americans (68%) are terrorists according to the patriot act because they question their government. Maybe they would just shoot into the crowd to protect America against the terrorists. The rest (22%) are innocent. Funny isn't it?

I hate bush as much as the next guy, but I don't think he can really do much more harm for another 2 years. Not to mention the amount of time it would take to go through the hearings and such. Unless of course those genocide conspiracies are true...

Considering non-US citizens can vote I doubt that will ever go anywhere.

I would think about 20% of those are non-US citizens.

All you morons wanting to impeach Bush => Cheney as president. You hate Bush so damn much you don't take the time to think of what it would really mean to have Cheney as president. So then you're going to start impeach Cheney threads? All this happening in two years to boot.

Get a fucking clue you tards, it takes more than signing some gimp petition which represents APPROXIMATELY .33% of the U.S. population (at 1 million, which 720k isn't) to make a difference.
