IM Worm Installs Own Browser: The Safety Browser

A new IM hijack that installs its own browser called the "Safety Browser" has been discovered. It changes your homepage, loops music on your desktop every time you boot up and spams the infection link via IM and IRC. Oh, and popups are enabled by default...

They are trying to root out the dumbasses using IRC.
A bunch of creative IRC plugin hacks have been out for a very long time.

Most servers have rules setup against private messsaging.
