This article won't highlight the plastic, capitalist Easter that you and I have been trained to know, nor will it showcase a giant rabbit or any other silly symbol of Easter. What this editorial will do is ponder what it would be like if Jesus Christ returned to Earth for Easter.

What? Listen, I don't speak Spanish.

"truer words have never been spoken. Very powerful and bold editorial. nice scienott"

-This made me feel kinda funny, like when we use to climb the rope in gym class.

Jesus has already returned... like twenty seven times. Most of the time Jesus had schizophrenia.

I am tacking this on. It's 2:01am my time.

I think part of the reason Scienott makes mention to Dingo is because Dingo does behave like his head is on a swivel at times... 'head on a slinky' maybe is what I mean - Dingo, being <20 I imagine, makes arguments without putting real concern into them at times. I am no better, just older.
Does Dingo get paid for what he does administratively. I don't really have any idea if one would make any money from a website like this. I, of course, doubt anyone's raking in the cash, but it would be cool if Dingo got paid a salary, I think... at least like a few hundred bucks a month for beer money. ' just musing, sorry.

"Is everyone a liberal tree hugger in here?

Judging christians from specific things in the bible, and not the whole idea?"

If that's how you want to be treated then tell me, what is the 'whole idea' of the bible, and then tell me the proof you used to reach that conclusion.

VincentOxford, (ew), you have to refer us to the person whom you are quoting. God says so.

I think it takes a portion of balls to write an editorial on Jesus. People are nervous to talk about it, but really, it's at the root of half of America's belief system.
Do I have to treat peoples' religious beliefs with reverence? Thank god for being an anonymous nobody on the internet.

o yes, here comes all the authorities and they talk as if they arent hypocrites, well done Scienott, right after posting about hypocrisy in the article, here you come with your self righteous, holier than thou attitude, wow, Dingo is admin eh. AHAHAHAHAHA. Right.

why am i a hypocrite, i didnt write the bible, post shit about my religion, im gonna defend it, i dont see the fault in that, if i piss on your face your gonna fight back, logical ? no?

@Dingo, you take things from every perspective? are u sure? yes? well no you dont. Also, as i said, please check before you post as you seem to have no knowledge of what your posting, if your quoting, put it in the right context, deuteronomy is the old testament, CHRISTIANS, DONT FOLLOW THE OLD TESTAMENT. Its there as the past events which led upto Jesus, let me rephrase, even though there are many things that Christians follow in the old testament those same things are mentioned in the new testament, if you wanna find something wrong with christianity, find it from the new testament and then post it.

great read. this really brings up the queston to many cristians: whose words take precidence, jesus's or the guys who came after him. were the western world truly christian we would have abandoned concepts of hate, war and greed long ago and everbody would be able to live a life free of so many of todays problems.

What the hell are you talking about, MetalGod1?

I was trying to stick up for you and smarten up one of my staffers.

You need to be a little more understanding as it would appear you misunderstood the situation.

Very bold article, You aren't scared of bringing up all those religion hating trolls are you? Its also a very good article by the way.

Well see the thing about religion (well what I believe), is that in todays world it has become 5% truth, and then 95% percent bullshit. What many people don't realize is that nothing is safe from exploitation, and religion happens to be very easy to exploit.

I think there really was a Jesus. Whether or not he was really the Son of God I will leave to speculation, but he preached some good words, that if everyone followed what he said, it would truly be heaven on earth. But you can never really trust a man's words that are spoken from another man, as they tend to be twisted to fit the other man's mouth.

Another thing, religion serves a purpose other than saving us from certain damnation. It makes us feel better about ourselves. Practically every religion out there today carries the same message:
"Be a good person and you will be treated as a good person in the afterlife."
It gives us that sense of hope that something better will come (and that is the concept of a messiah by the way). Being told that your sins are forgiven in church really gives you a good feeling about yourself.

We can't really take away religion from people, cause in today's corrupt and dark days, half of us would breakdown without it. It will always be a part of humanity, whether you like it or not. Unfortunately some asshole always comes by and makes religion look bad, and of course you are always represented by the worst of your pack (I feel sorry for muslims, everyone thinks they're all terrorists when its only a small percent.)

I don't think we can fix religion, because it is so deeply rooted into our history as human beings, but we can try to fix the people who try to mess it up.

Ok, ladies, and some of you gents, this is for you.At some point in time EVERY guy has cum too soon. And it IS because he has a problem; over stimulation.Next to basement dwellers, married men have one of the worst sex lives. For married men it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt. For the basement dwellers, it's just lack of social skills and the sight of real live boobs.Women, if a guy cums quickly, it's a sign that he's very anxious to rock your thigh clam a...
